REFUND POLICY (RETURNS & REFUNDS)

 

OVERVIEW

EDIT8 COLLECTIVE complies with Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our goods are often pre-owned and/or vintage; condition is disclosed in each listing with photos and written notes.

 

CHANGE-OF-MIND

Unless we state otherwise in writing, we do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind (including buyer’s remorse, preference, or incorrect fit).

 

WHEN YOU ARE ENTITLED TO A REMEDY (ACL)

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if an item:

  • is not as described (including materially different from listing photos/description),
  • has an undisclosed fault, or
  • is otherwise not of acceptable quality taking into account its age, pre-owned/vintage nature, and the disclosed condition.

 

AUTHENTICITY CONCERNS

If you believe an item is not authentic, contact us in writing with supporting information. We may request photos and/or require the item be returned for review and/or independent assessment.

If an item sold by EDIT8 COLLECTIVE is confirmed to be not authentic, we will provide a suitable remedy, which may include a full refund upon return of the item.

 

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

Email info@edit8.com.au with:

  • your order number,
  • the reason for the request, and
  • clear photographs (where relevant).

 

We recommend contacting us within 7 days of delivery so we can resolve issues quickly and fairly.

 

CONDITION OF RETURNS (IF APPROVED)

If a return is approved:

  • the item must be returned in the same condition as received,
  • with all inclusions (e.g., dust bag/box/receipts if included), and
  • packaged securely with tracked shipping.

 

REFUNDS

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method after the item is received and inspected (unless ACL requires otherwise). Processing times can vary by payment provider.

 

SHIPPING COSTS

Where a return is required due to a failure to meet ACL guarantees, we will handle shipping responsibilities as required by law. For all other approved return scenarios (rare), return shipping may be the customer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.
